Duality

The colored version of my 'Pre- and Post-Mortem' piece.

Ugh, DeviantART made this look a bit blurrier than it actually is...D:<

The top sketch is what Luna looked like when she was alive. (Haha, she still had a mesh fetish, XDD.)

Her hair doesn't usually fan out around her, but I wanted to show off her explosive blonde locks, XD.)

The upside-down sketch is what Luna looks like after she dies. Her bangs/fringe covers her left eye because she lost it in the explosion that killed her.

Haha, I like drawing her dead self because of her epic ponytail of epicness, XD. (I also really hate coloring blonde hair, even though I love blonde characters, XDD.)

Haha, I know the backgrounds are crappy, XD.

When Luna is dead, her hair is supposed to be white. I only shaded it with a lot of grey to add dimension to it.

Fun fact: Apparently, Ljótur is a name that means 'ugly' in Icelandic, and it's usually a guy's name, XD. (Poor Luna; no wonder she gave herself a stage name...)

In katakana, her name reads 'Riosa Deindossa' (and on the other side, 'Runa Dein'). This is the closest spelling I could get to her real name. (Curse Icelandic names for being hard to Japanese-fy...XDD)
