Yet Another Blue Character

Okay, I think everyone knows by now I have an obsession with coloring characters with blue skin

This is Kiele Mako, a character from an original story of mine called 'Inadequate'. She has the power of hydrokinesis. She's a badass waterbender, hell yeah In terms of age, she is fifteen.

She suffers from Type 1 Inherited Methemoglobinemia (basically, her hemoglobin can carry oxygen but is unable to release it effectively to body tissues), which turned her skin a blueish-grey color. (This is real, by the way.) However, her skin turned even bluer once her powers manifested. 

Contrary to what most think, she cannot breathe underwater. The markings on her neck are not gills. Rather, they are scars from when a group of anti-mutant extremists mobbed her at the local pool and carved them into her neck as a 'joke'. 

Kiele loves swimming and diving, and was the best on the team until she was banned from competing because she was a mutant. She is also talented at soccer. 

Though she doesn't look it, Kiele is Hawaiian, and speaks the language fluently, along with English. 

She is also the loving and loyal girlfriend of Ishiko Unmesha, a fellow classmate.
